Immediate Need: Clinical Assessment Specialist

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Minimum of a master’s degree in a clinical behavioral health discipline.
  2. Minimum of at least two (2) years clinical experience in the field of behavioral health care [one (1) year must be clinical experience in substance abuse treatment].
  3. Demonstrable skills in the completion of comprehensive bio-psychosocial evaluations for individuals suffering from both substance abuse/dependence and mental illness.
  4. Working knowledge of the DSM.
  5. Excellent clinical report writing skills, as well as similar verbal skills in communicating clinical client profiles and level of care recommendations.
  6. Experience in administering typical assessment tools (i.e.; PCPC, etc.).
  7. Ability to work closely and productively within a clinical team environment.
  8. Must complete PCPC training within one (1) year of employment.

 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for at least one hour at a time
  2. Must be able to ascend/descend two flights of stairs
  3. Must be able to move up to 20 pounds
  4. Must be able to travel independently between Wedge locations and required external locations
  5. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with clientele who have severe disabilities and challenging behaviors 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Responsible for completing initial comprehensive bio-psychosocial evaluation (CBE).
  2. Responsible for completing comprehensive bio-psychosocial formulation/diagnostic summary.
  3. Responsible for completing all associated initial funding paperwork.
  4. Responsible for assisting with outreach as needed.

 

  1. Responsible for performing other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor and/or upper management.
  2. Responsible for completing required continuing education annually as required by State and CBH regulations.
  3. Responsible for attending all supervision meetings and staff meetings as assigned.
  4. Responsible for adhering to all Wedge policies and procedures.
  5. Responsible for adherence to compliance and continuous quality improvement procedures, including CQI reporting, internal audits and reporting fraud and abuse. 

 

Full- and Part-Time Receptionists

Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; business school education a plus
  2. Excellent phone skills - - ability to articulate and clearly communicate with others
  3. Outstanding “people” skills
  4. Good typing skills and computer knowledge
  5. Strong organizational skills
  6. Ability to be flexible and an ability to multi-task
  7. Ability to be positive, upbeat, and energetic.
  8. Ability to maintain composure in a busy work environment


Weekday Evening & Saturday Fee-for-Service Mental Health Therapist
Office Locations: North, Logan & Juniper
Population: Children/Adolescent Specific
Qualifications

  1. Master’s Degree in a related field (i.e., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, etc.)
  2. Two years Mental Health work experience (internships may count).
  3. Strong understanding of and knowledge in psychiatric and behavioral disorders; substance abuse knowledge a plus.
  4. Great “people” skills; someone who is dedicated to and eager to assist our members in becoming more independent and self-reliant.
  5. Knowledge and an understanding of the recovery model.
  6. An ability to multi-task and complete/manage all documentation requirements to ensure State and CBH Compliance Regulations in all clinical charts.
  7. Good computer skills.
  8. A team player.

Full-time Mental Health Therapist
Office Locations: North, Logan & Juniper
Population: Adults, Adolescents & Children
Qualifications

This position can be arranged as a Fee-For-Service (paid per session) or Quota Contract (Salary w/ Benefits) position.

  3. Strong understanding of and knowledge in psychiatric and behavioral disorders; substance abuse knowledge a plus.

Recovery Therapist (Asian Language Speaking)

Qualifications
  1. Bilingual capability – Languages spoken include Vietnamese, Khmer (Cambodian), Cantonese Chinese, and Mandarin Chinese.
  2. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (i.e., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, etc.); Master’s Degree is a plus.
  3. A minimum of two years’ work experience in a related field.

D&A Counselor & Counselor Assistant
Office Locations: Frankford, Venango & South
Qualifications
 
D&A COUNSELOR:
 
  1. Master’s Degree in a related field and six months clinical experience facilitating groups and individual therapy sessions working with individuals who had a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency, OR
  2. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and one year clinical experience facilitating groups and individual therapy sessions working with individuals who had a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency, OR
  3. Associate’s Degree in a related field and two years clinical experience facilitating groups and individual therapy sessions working with individuals who had a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency.
  4. Experience working with individuals with Substance Abuse Disorders, as well as co-occurring Mental Illness.
  5. Knowledge of DSM diagnosis, and demonstrated assessment skills, particularly of Substance Abuse symptoms.
  6. Knowledge of various treatment and mutual self-help approaches to Substance Abuse Disorders.
  7. Knowledge of Counseling Theory and its application.
  8. Excellent client engagement skills.
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication.
  10. Ability to use a computer, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn the use of databases and Electronic Health Records.
  11. Strong organization skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, managed care environment
 
D&A COUNSELOR ASSISTANT:
 
  1. Candidates for Counselor Assistant will have the educational credentials listed above, but may lack the years of clinical experience
  2. Candidates for Counselor Assistant may lack educational or clinical experience listed above, but must be enrolled in a Behavioral Health degree program, and must complete the degree within 5 years.
